Beyond his legal practice, Adam is a native to the Rockford area and graduated from Hononegah High School. After high school, he attended and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Adam Long joined the firm in 2004 and has been a partner since 2009. He represents businesses and individuals in commercial transactions and a wide range of both commercial and civil litigation. He has represented construction companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, healthcare providers, small businesses, and individuals. Adam has been lead counsel in numerous jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and mediations in both state court and federal court. Adam has served as chairman to the Winnebago County Bar Association Trial/Appellate Section. He is admitted to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and has been admitted pro hac vice to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
While at the University of Illinois, he was a sprinter on the Fighting Illini Track & Field team. He attended law school at the University of Kentucky. When he is not practicing law, Adam enjoys traveling, playing golf with friends and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
