| Personal: | Richard K. Van Evera was born in Hinsdale, Illinois, in 1948. He received his B.A. in History and Political Science at Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1970. Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force in 1970, Attorney Van Evera served on active duty from 1970 to 1974 including one tour in Southeast Asia and left active duty as a captain. In August of 1978 he began his career with the firm. He and his wife, Marcia Orwig, have two adult children: Nikolaus and Courtney. | |
