Experience:

Mr. Jason Rock started as an associate attorney at Barrick, Switzer, Long, Balsley & Van Evera, LLP at the time he received his law license in 1994. In 1999, Mr. Rock was named partner. Mr. Rock served as president of the bankruptcy section of the Winnebago County Bar Association in 2001 and 2007. He provides continuing legal education lectures to legal practitioners on the subject of the Illinois Mechanics Lien Act as well as various bankruptcy topics. In 1997, Mr. Rock argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee. Mr. Rock concentrates his law practice in the following areas: commercial litigation, construction law, bankruptcy, and corporate transactions.

Before receiving his law license, Mr. Rock worked as an assistant golf professional and a legal clerk for Sundstrand Corporation. Outside the practice of law, Mr. Rock spends his time reading classical literature, appreciating modern art, strength training, coaching his children and playing golf with his friends.
