Ms. Baluch is a partner with Barrick, Switzer, Long, Balsley & Van Evera, LLP. She specializes in the areas of family law and personal injury.
Her expertise is focused on all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody, support issues, and prenuptial agreements.
Ms. Baluch is one of the few trained Collaborative Law attorneys in the local area, and is further a certified mediator.
She is regularly appointed as a Guardian ad Litem and Child Representative by the 17th Judicial Circuit in highly contested matters.
Ms. Baluch has also had speaking engagements throughout the community regarding her expertise in the area of family law.
In addition to family law, Ms. Baluch handles all forms of personal injury matters, including but not limited to automobile accidents, injuries and slips and falls. She is a certified arbitrator in this area. She is an experienced litigator, successfully negotiating settlements prior to trial, and when settlement cannot be reached, regularly prevailing in both bench and jury trials. In 2010, Ms. Baluch was awarded Strathmore's Who's Who Among Legal Professionals lifetime award. |

| Personal: | Ms. Baluch was born in Rockford, Illinois. In 1999, she married her husband, and they have one son who was born in 2008. Ms. Baluch enjoys volunteering in the local community with many great organizations, including the Rockford Women's Cosmopolitan Club and the American Heart Association, to name a few. In her free time, she enjoys golfing and spending time with her family and close friends. | |
