Robert C. Pottinger serves as counsel for numerous businesses in the Rockford area. He has successful trial experience in a wide variety of cases tried in state and federal court, including commercial, contract, negligence and matrimonial cases.

Mr. Pottinger has been working for the law firm for over 30 years. He began as a law clerk in 1998 and joined the law firm after graduating from law school in 1990. He has been a partner of the firm since 1995. He has a diverse civil practice with areas of concentration involving business law, civil litigation and matrimonial law. Since joining the firm, he has consulted and represented clients in matters involving complex federal and state litigation. He represents many different business enterprises in the Rockford area. It is his privilege to represent and advise many of the leading businesses and individuals in the Rockford community.
Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Pottinger has been involved in numerous civic activities. Most notably, he has served as the President of the Board of Directors for Rockford Lutheran School and has been a member of the Rockford Cosmopolitan Club for over 30 years, serving as President in 1999.
