In his free time Brandon enjoys watching his daughters, Sofia and Aria, participate in sports and dance. He is a big sports fan and loves watching sports both live and on T.V. Brandon also loves to volunteer in the community and is the President of the Harlem School District Bi-lingual Parents Advisory Committee, a Northeast YMCA Advisory Council member, and a CASA volunteer.
A. Brandon Sanchez
Brandon was born and raised in Northwest Indiana. After high school he attended Indiana University majoring in Sport Marketing and Management and minoring in Business. While at IU Brandon became a member of Sigma Pi Fraternity. He obtained his B.S. in Kinesiology, from IU, in 2004. After College he went on to Valparaiso University to pursue a dual degree J.D./Masters of Sports Administration. While at Valpo he met his wife Kristen.
After graduating law school in 2007, Brandon went to work for the Winnebago County Public Defender’s office in 2008. He was assigned to Juvenile Abuse and Neglect court, where he represented parents and also minor’s as their Guardian Ad Litem. In 2010 Brandon left the Public Defender’s office to join a collections law firm based in Chicago. While there Brandon was in charge of all the collection cases in Boone, Winnebago, Stephenson, Jo Daviess, and Carroll, Whiteside, Ogle, Lee, and Dekalb counties.
In July 2018 Brandon joined Barrick, Switzer, Long, Balsley, and Van Evera, LLP. His practice focuses primarily on collections, traffic cases, and juvenile abuse and neglect. Brandon and his wife, Kristen, have two Daughters Sofia and Aria.
